Shipping Information

Maggie's Cookies happily ships to all 50 United States from Reading Pennsylvania.  Because our cookies preservative-free, a YUMMY arrival is our primary goal.  Your Maggie’s Cookies are baked fresh the day that they are shipped.

Ordering Information:

Because your Maggie’s Cookies are baked just for you, we process and schedule orders as we receive them.  You can choose a shipment date.  If none is selected, we will bake and ship your order within 48 hours and in the order in which it is received.  (This may vary depending on the volume.)

We take care with our scheduling because we get distressed thinking about our cookies sitting on a truck and not at the table.  Therefore orders placed after Wednesday will be scheduled depending on their destination.  Below are some general guidelines.  If your order requires special scheduling adjustments, Maggie’s Cookies will contact you to discuss the arrangements.

General Ordering/Shipping Guidelines:

• Currently, we ship Maggie’s Cookies via UPS and the United States Postal Service Priority Mail (USPS Priority) as our primary shipping methods.
• To ensure freshness, orders placed between Friday and Sunday are baked and shipped on Monday.
• Maggie’s Cookies can not guarantee exact delivery dates (unless a guaranteed delivery method is chosen.)  Our advice is to place your order early and give us a call to discuss special circumstances.  We love making your Maggie’s Cookie experience yummy!
• With UPS Ground, packages west of the Mississippi generally take 3-5 days (up to 6 days to Alaska and Hawaii).  With USPS Priority, delivery west of the Mississippi and is generally 3 days (RECOMMENDED!)
• As you can imagine our popularity sky rockets during the holidays (especially the month of December).  Please place any orders as early as possible.  It is our company philosophy to satisfy every cookie need, so please do not hesitate to contact us with your “cookie situation”.
• Currently, if you are shipping to multiple addresses, you must enter each order separately.   (check if new shopping cart can accommodate shipping to multiple addresses).
• Cookie Emergencies:  Oh, they do happen!  We understand.  If a package must arrive on a specific date, UPS Overnight, UPS 2 or 3 Day Service , or USPS Express Mail are  available options.  Feel free to call to discuss the timeliest and most economical option for your order.  Email is fine too!
• We are able to confirm delivery with USPS Priority service, however the tracking information is not as detailed as with UPS.  After an order is shipped, you will receive an email with a confirmation tracking number, so that you will be able to see your Maggie’s Cookies journey.
• For shipping estimates of special orders, for example, multiple cookies packages sent to one location or shipment of our Life of the Party or Friend Magnet Trays, please contact maggie@maggiescookies.com.

UPS Shipping:

• UPS Ground shipping only to states where delivery is 1 or 2 days. (see UPS delivery map: http://www.ups.com/maps/printerfriendly).
• For UPS orders that will take 3 days or more, we will only UPS Second Day Air (Monday through Wednesday).  Click the Shipping Estimate Button on the check out page.
• USP delivers Monday through Friday.  Saturday delivery is possible for an additional fee of $30.00.  Please call us at 800-624-4545 to confirm that Saturday delivery is available to your recipient.

USPS Priority and Express Shipping:

• As of now, USPS Priority Mail is delivered on Saturdays to residential and some business addresses for no extra charge.
• USPS Express Mail delivers overnight to most locations.  
• Saturday delivery is available with this service for no extra charge. 
• USPS Priority and Express Shipping is the only choice when shipping to a Post Office Box.  UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

• If you live in or are driving through Reading, Pennsylvania, you can arrange to pick up your order.  Please call 800-624-4545 to make arrangements.  
• Please note that when you are checking out, you will have the option to select Shipping Method (Pick Up is an option) on the Order Confirmation Page.
• If you are paying with PayPal, you will return to www.maggiescookies.com to finalize your order.  At this point, you can select "Pick Up" as the Shipping Method.
